Skid Mounted Fan Guns

Our skid mounted fan guns are our highest production snowmaking units, making them great for jobs requiring a large amount of snow. These fan guns can quickly build multiple snow bridges for creek crossings, as well as stockpiles for road construction and levelling leases.

With technology from the global leader in snowmaking, TechnoAlpin's M18 snow gun offers unmatchable performance. Capable of making snow at very warm temperatures, combined with our fully enclosed and heated skid, this unit can also operate in the coldest conditions. Designed to be pulled across any terrain, this unit guarantees you an early start in the season.

  • Multistage vertical turbine booster pumps for extremely high pressure and flow rates. High pressure increases atomization for warm weather snowmaking, and reduces freeze-ups during cold weather. Having our pumps inside our heated skids reduces our start-up and shut down times, as well as the potential for a break down.
  • Oversized nozzles for increased water flow.
  • Continuous flow water filtration system. This allows us to run non-stop, even when our water supply is dirty. There is never a need to shut down to clean water filters.
  • 360 degree flood lighting for a safe and efficient work area without the additional cost of a light tower.
  • Fold up hitch allows these skids to be pulled behind dozers, snow cats, and tractors.
  • Oilfield skid allows these units to easily be loaded on lowbeds, deck trucks, and bed trucks, as well as pushed or skidded into place.
  • Emergency shutdown switches, as well as automatic over/under pressure shutdowns.
  • Large tool chests inside of heated skids, fully stocked with tools and spare parts.
